What Is Dialpad?

Dialpad is a cloud communication service for enterprise businesses. The system makes it simple to connect remote employees and work from anywhere. Dialpad originally launched in 2014 and was created by Firespotter labs as a companion to UberConference.

Dialpad is an all-in-one communication suite. With connections to Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and LinkedIn, it’s easy to stay connected as a remote team. Dialpad also has unlimited, calling, texting, and conferencing for up to 10 people.

Dialpad users get access to UberConference which integrates and connects with Hubspot, Slack, HipChat, box, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Outlook, Evernote, and DropBox.

Dialpad claims to save money, kills the desk phone, and makes team communication easy, and in many ways we think it delivers on that promise, especially for larger businesses.

What Are the Differences Between Dialpad and Burner?

Dialpad is a big product that solves a lot of the problems faced by large business with remote employees. Their system makes it easy for teams to communicate when they’re in different locations and time zones, to set-up conference calling, and integrate with customer support software such as Zendesk.

Burner, on the other hand, is much more focused on solving the issues faced by individual users and protecting peer-to-peer privacy. Burner offers unlimited calling, texting and picture messaging for less than the price of a fancy latte each month. It's also simple to have multiple secondary phone numbers with Burner. As for privacy, when you burn one of our numbers, you're disconnected immediately and all history is wiped.

Though Burner doesn’t offer conference calling or integration with Zendesk or Salesforce, we do have text autoreplies, advanced functionality through bots such as Ghostbot and Hostbot, and integrations with Evernote and SoundCloud, among other services.

Why Choose Burner Over Dialpad?

If you’re on a tight budget or simply don’t need all the features of conference calling and business integrations that are needed by enterprise-level companies, than Burner is a more affordable and easy-to-use option.

Burner offers unlimited calling, texting, and picture messaging, customizable voicemail, and Do Not Disturb mode for only $4.99 a month.

What Are People Saying About Dialpad and Burner?

I love having this option to use one line with an additional number. I can keep my business and my personal life separate without the need and the hassle of carrying to different phones and the unnecessary expense of additional cellular service. Whoever thought of this is a genius!

Great app to keep your private number private, and still be sociable. Have business calls on same phone, and for fun. Talk about user friendly, simple with all kinds of features I didn’t even realize existed. An absolute must. Probably best app I’ve ever used. 10 stars in my book. Thanks for a great app that’s simple and offers so much!
